Whether you celebrate Easter for religious reasons or you just outright love chocolate and bunny rabbits, we can surely agree that Easter is a great time to come together with your closest family and friends and share some memories.

In this post, we will share some of our ideas for creating an exciting Easter event that is fun for both adults and children all the same.

Props & Decorations

One of the most important parts of creating a truly breathtaking event in any theme is to use the appropriate decorations and props.

Easter Wall Decorations we used to create the Easter Theme for our client's Party.

If you use too many items, you run the risk of making your event look cheesy, but too little and you could end up with a total snooze fest.

As Easter is a springtime holiday, you can use a selection of floral/natural decorations to really bring some colour to your event.

Here are some of our Favourites:

  • Floral Displays – flowers, garlands, topiary characters etc
  • Easter Egg Props – this can be table displays, large prop displays or even scattered around the area.
  • Dessert Tables – Not only are you offering a selection of fun catering but set up properly, a dessert table can be an extremely pleasant addition to the atmosphere of the event.
  • Gazebos – A gazebo is a great addition to outdoor Easter events as it gives you guests a place to socialise and mingle.
  • Bunny Rabbit Props – When hosting an easter event, you should always use nature to your advantage and nothing says Easter in the spring than some fluffy bunny rabbit props around your event.
  • Pastel Colours – As Easter is a very bright time of year, using pastel colours at your event is a great way of bringing that vibrancy inside.
  • Buntings – Following on from pastel colours, using them on a selection of buntings is a good director to go, as it spreads the colour out across the room.

Activities To Consider!

Now we will take a look at the many activities that you could consider for your Easter event. In addition to making your event look the part, you should also offer you guests a wide range of activities to take part in! Here are some ideas:

FACT: The White House hosts an Easter Egg Roll on the front lawn each year. This tradition was started by President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1878.

  • Easter Egg Hunt – Easter egg hunts are a classic activity for this theme as it can be as long or a brief as you like! This theme is a great way to get people working together and interacting as they hunt for your hidden treasures. For the children, you can hide chocolates and for the grown-ups, you could use alcohol miniatures! (or anything else you think people will like)
  • Workshops – Another fun way to offer some entertainment is through a range of workshops. From building your own bunnies to easter egg decorating, you can really get creative with this one.
  • Animal Farms – Everyone loves animals, and a great way to get your guests excited is to let them play with some real ones! Without animal farms, you can let your guest get up close and personal with some adorable farmyard creatures!
  • Meet the Easter Bunny – This activity is great for children, they can meet the bunny himself, say hello and take a picture!
  • Parades – If you’re having an event on a larger scale, then having an Easter themed parade is a great way to entertain guests. Using animals, bunny walkabout characters and other festive acts you can show everyone a great time

Fun Easter Entertainment

Now we will share some of our favourite entertainment for Easter-themed events! These performers are a great addition to Easter events and are all fun and unique in their own different ways.

FUN FACT: 76% of people eat the ears on chocolate bunnies first.

Easter Bunnies

As you can imagine, one of the most popular forms of entertainment for Easter events is bunny rabbit walkabout acts.

Coming in a range of different styles, our bunny rabbits are excellent performers for entertaining children and adults as they are cheeky, energetic and super friendly!

Take a look at our ‘Bouncealot Rabbits’, for example!

Giant Easter Walkabout Egg

This walkabout character is an excellent addition to shopping centres, private parties and more. Her act is perfect for children’s entertainment and is ideal for photos and greetings!

The Blossoms

Finally, another great form of entertainment at your next Easter event is our stilt walkers “The Blossoms”. These performers are perfect for events in April as they are covered in flourishing, colourful flowers.

Animondium

Animondium is a wonderfully exotic show filled to the brim with weird and wonderful walkabout animals.

Our wacky animal sanctuary is home to some exceptional animals including; a dinosaur, an orangutan, a snake and more. Our intrepid explorers and their animals will bring an abundance of fun to any event you plan.

There are plenty more options to choose from when it comes to easter entertainment!
