    Rent A Petting Farm Frequently Asked Questions

    Our FAQ will inform you all about what to expect on the day of your farm animal experience.

    What types of animals and how many will there be?

    A standard package of 1 pony or donkey, 2 goats, 1 pig ( weather dependent) a couple of guinea pigs, a couple of rabbits and a couple of chickens dependent upon venue type.

    How is the mess dealt with?

    Our Mobile Petting Farm and all animal waste is cleared away by your handlers who use their own brooms and sweep up. The only leftovers may be a little hay.

    What duration is the farm animal entertainment?

    2 hours from when the pop-up mobile petting farm is set up.

    What are the space requirements?

    The farm animals arrive on a trailer with a car requiring a minimum of 10 metres long by 3 metres wide to park. The set-up then requires at least 6 metres squared of space from the trailer and car. However, if you don’t have the whole space our farm animal entertainment can be split across smaller areas, with ideal measures of 6 metres by 3 metres for the pony and goats and 6 metres by 6 metres for the smaller animals.

    Who is this mobile petting farm suitable for?

    You can hire a farm animal experience for absolutely anyone! Our caring team has worked with all ages and abilities previously, and all the animals are well-trained and used to being handled. Nervous individuals can view from a distance or gradually introduce themselves slowly to the animals under supervision. Any special requirements can be discussed prior to the visit to ensure any extra measures are put in place for the enjoyment and safety of animals and participants.
