About our Interactive Walls for Events

Our interactive digital wall is a motion-tracking installation that allows your guests to control and interact with digital graphics using their bodies. Rather than simply displaying pre-recorded content like a conventional screen, specialist depth sensors detect people moving in front of the installation.

Our software then uses this information to generate visual effects that respond to their silhouettes and movements in real time. Guests can walk, move and dance in front of the wall and immediately see the digital environment react around them.

The technology can be connected to an existing LED wall or supplied as a front or back-projection installation, depending on your venue and requirements and budget.

This makes our interactive wall a highly engaging digital attraction for events where you want audiences to actively participate rather than simply watch.

    How Does Our Interactive Wall Work?

    The main technology behind the experience is our interactive software, depth sensor and computer system.

    A depth sensor tracks guests within the interaction area. Their movement data is interpreted by the software and translated into responsive generative graphics, creating the illusion that the guest’s silhouette is directly influencing the digital environment.

    Your installation can then be displayed in three ways:

    • Existing LED wall: We connect our interactive system to a suitable LED wall already installed at your venue. For optimum results, the LED wall should reach floor level and there should be approximately 3m of clear interaction space in front.
    • Front projection: A high-powered projector displays the interactive visuals onto a suitable clear surface or projection screen. Appropriate rigging and projection distance are required.
    • Back projection: Guests interact in front of a projection screen while the projector and technical equipment sit behind it. This creates a self-contained installation but requires additional depth behind the screen.

    The standard installation requires approximately 4m × 4m floor space, although the exact requirements depend on your chosen display method and venue.

    We offer several ways to install the experience depending on the display equipment already available at your venue.

    Interactive Wall Using Your Existing LED Wall

    Our most cost-effective configuration connects the interactive system to a suitable existing LED wall at your London event. Includes:

    – Up to 6 hours of continuous operation –
    – Technical production and software licence –
    – 6 generative visual effects –
    – Logo or custom message in standby mode –
    – 1 depth sensor –
    – 1 computer with signal extenders –
    – Technical setup –

    Please note: The LED wall itself is not included in this package.

    Interactive Wall With Front Projection

    Don’t already have a suitable LED wall? We can create the experience using front projection.

    For London events, the standard front-projection package includes the specialist interactive technology and relevant projection equipment.

    Rigging/truss structures, additional screens/surfaces and other venue-specific infrastructure may need to be supplied separately depending on the space.

    Interactive Wall With Back Projection

    Our back-projection configuration uses an approximately 3.8m × 2.8m projection screen, with the technical projection equipment positioned behind the screen.

    This can create a particularly clean audience-facing installation because guests interact on one side while the projector is positioned behind the display.

    All prices above are starting prices based on standard London installations. Larger installations, bespoke content, travel and venue-specific equipment are quoted according to your requirements.

     

    What Is Included With Interactive Wall Hire?

    Our standard single-sensor interactive wall provides the core technology needed to turn movement into responsive digital content.

    Depending on your selected display configuration, your booking can include:

    • Up to 6 hours of continuous operation
    • Technical production

    • Projection equipment for applicable London projection packages
    • RGB ambient lighting

    For London events, we can supply the equipment associated with the selected standard package.

    For national and international events, our specialist technology such as the computers and tracking sensors can travel to your event, while generic large-scale AV equipment such as projection screens and large projectors may be more appropriately sourced locally.

    Existing effects can be adapted with custom colours, or we can create completely bespoke interactive visuals around your event concept.

    Floor projection can also be incorporated to take the digital experience beyond a single wall.

    Because factors such as venue dimensions, display equipment, projection requirements and the number of sensors all affect the technical specification, larger installations are designed and quoted individually.

    Add A Shadow Projection Dance Performance

    Want to combine your interactive installation with a scheduled live performance?

    Our shadow projection dance installation can be incorporated to create dedicated performance moments during your event.

    A professional dancer performs with the digital projection technology, turning the installation from an audience-led attraction into a choreographed visual show at scheduled times.

    Once the performance has finished, guests can continue interacting with the digital wall throughout the event.

    For more ambitious productions, the dance performance and digital visuals can also be developed around a specific event theme or creative concept.

    Is the screen included with interactive wall hire?

    It depends on the package. For an existing LED wall installation, the LED wall is not included. London front/back-projection packages can include relevant projection equipment, while larger display equipment may be sourced separately for national and international bookings.

    Can the interactive wall be customised for my brand?

    Yes. Existing visual effects can have their colours customised, or bespoke interactive visuals can be created at additional cost. A logo or custom message can also be displayed in standby mode.

    Can you create a larger interactive wall?

    Yes. The standard installation is approximately 4m wide, but multi-sensor systems can create installations of approximately 7m, 12m and 16m. Bespoke installations can extend to approximately 50m wide or be developed into an immersive room.
