osh Lewsey started playing Rugby at the age of 18 with the club ‘Wasps’ not only did he play for this team but he later went on to become captain. Josh then studied at the University of Bristol where he played in Bristol RFC before re-joining wasps at 21 years old.Lewsey first played for England when he was spotted at 21 and appeared on ‘England’s tour from hell’ in Australia, 1998. Not only did Josh play at many rugby games he also joined the Royal Military Academy and graduated in 2001 as an officer in the Royal Artillery. Combining both Rugby and the Army with great success he then decided to throw himself 100% into rugby. After playing as England’s key player in 2003 and touring in 2005, Josh retired from international Rugby in 2008. In 2010 as a keen climber, he took on Mount Everest in 2010 and got within 500 feet of the summit when his breathing apparatus failed meaning he had to abandon the ascent. Since then Josh has spoken at many events and is recognised for his knowledge, his ability to drive change. His speaking topics include peak performance, intelligence under pressure and preparation & execution.
