You will need to get permission from a landowner if you are hiring land for your event. If you are using a venue with an outdoor space it is always best to confirm they are happy for you to have a marquee. It’s always best to choose a flat area. The beauty of choosing a marquee is that it gives you a great amount of flexibility with the location you choose and how you style it.
What Size Marquee Do I Need For 50 Guests?
For 50 guests in your marquee at a time standing, you will need a size of roughly 20ft x 25ft. If your 50 guests are seated, you will need roughly 20ft x 30ft. If you have 50 guests who are seated and dancing, you need a marquee up to 20ft x 40ft in size. The size marquee you require will greatly depend on how your guests are situated, standing, seating or dancing.
How Much Is It To Hire A Large Marquee?
The cost of hiring a marquee is very dependent on the size you require and the style you may desire. Prices for Marquee Hire start from roughly £400 +VAT for a 20ft x 20ft marquee with a full package (flooring, tables etc.) and go up to £1400 +VAT for a 20ft x 40ft marquee with a full package.
