Some entertainment fills a space. Exceptional entertainment transforms it.

It makes delegates put down their phones, draws an exhibition crowd from across the room and creates the moment guests continue talking about after an event has ended.

At Julia Charles Event Management, we are searching for distinctive performers, immersive experiences, digital attractions and bespoke entertainment concepts with that kind of impact.

You might have developed an original performance discipline, combined technology with live entertainment or created an interactive experience that cannot be placed into a conventional category. Your act may be intimate and intriguing or large enough to command an arena. What matters is that it is professionally delivered, visually compelling and genuinely memorable.

As an entertainment agency for unique acts, we want to discover talent that can elevate corporate events, exhibitions, luxury celebrations, brand activations, conferences and international productions.

If people experience your work and respond with โ€œwowโ€, โ€œI have never seen that beforeโ€ or โ€œwe need this at our eventโ€, we want to see it.

Is Your Act What We Are Looking For?

We are not searching for novelty simply for the sake of being different. We want polished, purposeful entertainment that creates a powerful response from its audience.

Your concept could be a live performance, interactive installation, digital attraction or combination of several creative disciplines. It may use movement, illusion, robotics, projection, sound, wearable technology, storytelling or audience participation.

We are particularly interested in:

  • Immersive performers who draw guests into a story or experience
  • Interactive acts that allow audiences to influence or join the performance
  • Digital entertainment combining technology and live creativity
  • Large-scale attractions for exhibitions, public events and branded spaces
  • Visual performers with an unusual or highly refined speciality
  • Bespoke productions that can be adapted around an event concept
  • Brandable entertainment for product launches and corporate campaigns
  • Unexpected conference openings and show-stopping reveals
  • Contemporary circus acts with a strong creative identity
  • Roaming performances that transform the atmosphere of a venue
  • Installations that encourage participation, dwell time and content creation
  • Acts that combine several talents to create an original format

Perhaps you have reinvented aerial performance through projection mapping. You may have created a responsive digital installation, an extraordinary mechanical character or a performance that emerges among guests without warning.

Your work does not have to fit an existing category. In fact, we are particularly interested in concepts that are difficult to categorise but impossible to forget.

Why Join Julia Charles Event Management?

Julia Charles Event Management works with clients seeking polished, imaginative and high-impact event experiences across the UK and internationally.

Our projects include corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, brand activations, luxury celebrations, public events and large-scale seasonal experiences. Therefore, we understand that the right act must do more than perform well. It must complement the audience, venue, creative direction and purpose of the event.

When a suitable act joins our roster, our team considers how it could be positioned for the clients and occasions where it has the greatest potential to stand out.

This might mean presenting an existing performance in its strongest commercial setting. Alternatively, it could involve exploring different formats, creative applications or bespoke adaptations with the performer.

Could Your Act Elevate a Corporate Event or Exhibition?

Corporate audiences increasingly expect more than entertainment placed at the edge of an event. They want experiences that express an idea, create interaction and contribute to a wider purpose.

This is where distinctive performers and attractions can offer exceptional value.

The right act could become:

  • A high-impact opening for a conference or awards ceremony
  • An immersive experience within an exhibition stand
  • A dramatic product or brand reveal
  • An interactive attraction that increases visitor dwell time
  • A roaming performance that changes the atmosphere of a reception
  • A visual focal point for photographs and social content
  • A bespoke show reflecting a companyโ€™s story or campaign
  • A memorable finale for a gala dinner
  • An audience-led experience that brings guests into the action
  • A large-scale spectacle for a public or international event

As a corporate entertainment agency, we understand how to look beyond the performance itself and identify how a suitable act could contribute to a clientโ€™s wider objectives.

Sometimes a client needs to attract people to an exhibition stand. Another may want to communicate a brand message without relying on a conventional presentation. Others simply want to give their guests a moment they would never expect to experience at a corporate event.

We want to work with performers and creators capable of answering those briefs.

Reach High-Value Event Audiences

Joining a speciality acts agency in the UK can give exceptional performers access to clients searching for more ambitious forms of entertainment.

Julia Charles Event Management works with corporate organisations, event planners, luxury clients, brands and agencies seeking experiences that go beyond conventional entertainment.

Our clients may be searching for an act that can:

  • Stop visitors in their tracks
  • Transform a transition into a memorable moment
  • Introduce a product or campaign creatively
  • Generate audience participation
  • Encourage guests to capture and share content
  • Create a spectacular opening or finale
  • Turn a venue into an immersive environment

If your act fulfils one of these needs, we want to understand what it can achieve and where it performs at its best.

Gain Exposure Across Our Marketing Channels

Strong acts may be considered for promotion across the Julia Charles Event Management website, social media channels, blogs, video content and email newsletters.

We create content to inspire clients and introduce them to entertainment possibilities they may not already know exist. Therefore, high-quality photographs, showreels and performance footage can help suitable acts reach audiences already planning corporate, luxury and international events.

An act might be featured within:

  • A dedicated artist profile
  • Social media
  • Newsletters
  • Event and sales documents

The amount and type of promotion will depend on the act, its relevance to our clients and the quality of the available content. Acceptance onto our roster does not guarantee a website profile, editorial feature, particular level of exposure or number of enquiries.

However, exceptional visual content gives our team more opportunities to demonstrate what your act could bring to an event.

Could Your Act Become a Bespoke Performance?

We love working with creative performers who are open to collaboration.

Corporate and luxury clients frequently want entertainment that feels exclusive to their event. This might involve adapting costumes to reflect a brand palette, incorporating a product, developing new choreography, changing a soundtrack or bringing several performance disciplines together.

For the right project, performers may have opportunities to explore bespoke concepts with our creative and production teams.

A bespoke development might involve:

  • Customised costumes or styling
  • Bespoke music and choreography
  • Integrated logos, colours or campaign messages
  • A performance built around a product reveal
  • Several acts combined into a larger production
  • Technology or projection incorporated into a live show
  • A concept adapted to an unusual venue
  • A new interaction designed around the audience
  • A performance scaled for a larger stage or outdoor setting

These opportunities will depend on the individual enquiry, available budget, timescale and technical feasibility. However, performers who can adapt their work while protecting its quality and creative identity can be especially valuable within the corporate events market.

Seasonal and Creative Campaign Opportunities

Our entertainment campaigns respond to the way clients plan throughout the year. This creates potential opportunities for acts suited to Christmas, Halloween, summer events, festivals, awards seasons, product launches and other important calendar moments.

Seasonal entertainment does not have to be predictable.

We are particularly interested in performers who can reinterpret a familiar occasion through contemporary design, exceptional costume, immersive storytelling or unexpected technology.

Your existing skills might also lend themselves to an entirely new seasonal concept. An interactive digital act could become part of a futuristic Christmas experience, while an unusual large-scale character could be developed for a Halloween parade, public event or themed brand campaign.

Applying Is Quick, Straightforward and Free

If you are searching for entertainment agents for performers, you do not need to create a lengthy presentation before approaching us.

Our application process is quick, straightforward and completely free.

Simply complete our performer application and provide the essential information our team needs to understand your act.

Clear and current information allows us to assess your application more efficiently.

Most importantly, make sure your footage clearly shows what the audience will experience. Highly edited promotional videos may create excitement, but we also need to see the quality, scale and format of the live performance.

What Happens After You Apply?

Firstly, our team reviews your information, imagery and performance footage.

Next, we consider the originality and quality of the act, its professional presentation, its suitability for our clients and how it fits alongside our existing entertainment portfolio.

If we believe there could be a suitable opportunity, a member of our team may contact you for further details. This could include updated prices, performance formats, availability, technical requirements or additional promotional material.

Suitable acts may then be considered for an artist profile, relevant client enquiries, bespoke productions or future marketing content.

Because we receive applications from many performers and entertainment providers, we cannot guarantee that every act will be accepted or that we will be able to provide detailed individual feedback.

Submitting an application does not guarantee:

  • Acceptance onto our roster
  • Exclusive or ongoing representation
  • An artist profile on our website
  • Marketing or editorial coverage
  • Client enquiries
  • Confirmed performances or bookings

Every opportunity depends on the clientโ€™s requirements, event location, availability, budget and the suitability of the act for the particular brief.

What Makes an Application Stand Out?

The strongest applications make it easy for us to understand the act within a few moments.

Professional visuals are important, but clarity matters just as much. Show us what happens, how audiences respond and why your performance is different.

A strong application will usually include:

  • Clear and recent footage of the complete act
  • High-resolution images suitable for promotion
  • A distinctive and easily understood concept
  • Transparent guide pricing
  • Accurate technical information
  • Performance formats
  • Evidence of reliability and professional experience
  • Prompt and thoughtful communication

We also appreciate performers who understand the value of their work. Tell us where your act works best, how it engages an audience and what makes it more than a standard performance.

Do not worry if your act is difficult to categorise. As an immersive entertainment agency, we understand that some of the most exciting experiences combine live performance, interaction, technology and visual design.

Simply explain the experience as clearly as possible and show us what makes it memorable.

Amazing live acts for events.

How Are Enquiries and Bookings Managed?

Julia Charles Event Management offers clients two entertainment service options: a self-managed booking and a fully managed entertainment service.

The option selected by the client determines how communication and coordination are handled after an act has been confirmed. Performers will be told which service applies so they understand who their main contact is and what is expected of them.

Self-Managed Entertainment Bookings

With a self-managed booking, our team initially works with the client to understand the event, recommend suitable entertainment, confirm availability and agree the performance details and price.

We then issue the booking agreement and secure the act once the clientโ€™s deposit has been received.

After confirmation, we introduce the client directly to the performer or entertainment provider. The client and performer then communicate with one another to finalise the remaining arrangements.

These arrangements may include:

  • Final performance and arrival times
  • Venue access and setup information
  • Technical and production requirements
  • Entertainment riders
  • On-site contact details
  • Travel or accommodation arrangements
  • Remaining balance payments

This service is often chosen by clients who already have an internal event team, venue coordinator or production company managing the wider event.

For performers, this means being prepared to communicate directly and professionally with the client after the introduction. Prompt responses, accurate technical information and clear organisation are essential.

Fully Managed Entertainment Bookings

With our fully managed service, the Julia Charles Event Management team remains involved after the entertainment has been confirmed.

We continue to act as the main point of contact, managing communication between the client, performer, venue and other relevant suppliers.

Depending on the event, our team may:

  • Coordinate schedules and performance timings
  • Confirm riders and technical requirements
  • Liaise with the venue and production suppliers
  • Share access, setup and event information
  • Manage changes leading up to the event
  • Coordinate entertainment alongside the wider event plan
  • Manage the balance payment process
  • Issue risk assessments and method statements where required
  • Coordinate with performers on the event day

This option is particularly valuable for events involving multiple acts, complex production requirements or clients who want the reassurance of a single entertainment contact.

During a fully managed booking, performers must keep our team updated and direct relevant questions or proposed changes through their Julia Charles Event Management contact. This allows us to maintain accurate and consistent communication throughout the event.

What Does This Mean for Performers?

Whichever service the client chooses, our aim is to establish a clear and professional booking process for everyone involved.

Before accepting a booking, you will receive the available information about the event, including its location, timings, performance requirements and agreed fee. We will also explain whether it is a self-managed or fully managed booking.

Performers should be comfortable working within both arrangements:

  • During a self-managed booking, you will take responsibility for final coordination directly with the client following our introduction
  • During a fully managed booking, you will continue communicating through our team while we coordinate the entertainment requirements

The booking model may vary, but the standard expected from every performer remains the same: reliable communication, accurate information, professional conduct and an exceptional live performance.

Does Applying Guarantee That My Act Will Be Accepted?

No. Every submission is reviewed for its quality, originality, professionalism and suitability for our clients. Applying does not guarantee acceptance or representation.

Will Joining the Roster Guarantee Bookings?

No. Acceptance onto our roster does not guarantee enquiries or bookings. Opportunities depend on client demand, availability, event requirements, location, budget and how well your act suits each brief.

Do You Only Accept Established Performers?

Not necessarily. Professional experience is valuable, but an exceptional emerging act may still attract our attention. The quality of the concept, performance and presentation is particularly important.

Strong visual material will significantly improve your application. Clients need to see what they could be booking, while our team needs suitable content to assess and potentially promote your act.

Can I Apply If My Act Is Difficult to Categorise?

Yes. Some of the most exciting entertainment concepts do not fit neatly into an existing category. Explain the experience clearly and provide high-quality footage demonstrating how it works.

Do You Accept Digital Attractions and Installations?

Yes. We are interested in digital, interactive and technology-led attractions as well as live performers. This may include responsive installations, virtual experiences, robotics, projection-led concepts and other innovations suitable for corporate events and exhibitions.

For suitable performers and projects, there may be opportunities to explore positioning, creative adaptations or bespoke show development. This will depend on your act and the requirements, budget and timescale of each client project.

Will Julia Charles Manage Every Part of My Booking?

This depends on the service selected by the client. During a self-managed booking, we secure the entertainment and then introduce the client directly to the performer to coordinate the remaining details. With a fully managed booking, our team continues to coordinate communication, schedules, technical requirements and relevant event logistics.

Can International Performers Apply?

Yes. Julia Charles Event Management delivers events throughout the UK and internationally. International performers are welcome to apply, provided they clearly explain their location, travel capabilities and relevant working requirements.

Suitable acts may be considered for website, social media, blog and newsletter features. However, acceptance does not guarantee a profile or a particular amount of promotional coverage.
